changing INFINITI to SKYLINE???
Actually I could give 2 sh*ts about what stamped parts are on my car.... I bought my Infiniti becuz I liked the way it looks, not becuz I have some conspiracy theorists logic about upscale branding.
I'm all for whatever someone wants to do to their car for whatever reason they have. If it looks good, it looks good. The only mods I don't approve are cheap, unsafe ones.

If you debadge anything you gotta do it right. Changing only the INFINITI to SYLINE will look retarded with an infiniti logo and G35. Either get the full nissan styling 350gt badge or don't do it at all.
How does "Love it all EXCEPT the Nissan badges" = looks ugly?????

Like that idiot purple coupe up there. You can't just rebadge Mitsubishi and expect people to know what car it is. You need to go all the way, like this guy. (which is totally not the same dude)

Do I care about them, No, he wants to misbadge his car, whatever, Im just gonna laugh at it like I do every other misbadged car out there. The car looks great EXCEPT the Nissan badges(like I said above, not sure whats so confusing about that). Apparently the way you see it I have to either love OR hate everything on the car as a whole...... Everyone who knows anything about cars knows its an Infiniti, guess Ill never understand why people misbadge cars.... Because clearly, no one ever has a legitimate reason for doing so. You trying to fool people or what?
If our so-called Infinitis were really Nissans, wouldnt they come from the factory with Nissan badges already on them? Fact is, the ones in Japan do come as Nissans... but... we dont live in Japan.
Just glad I dont have this internal struggle as to what make and model of car I bought.

Thats not the same. Our cars have miscellanous parts that say nissan in really small letters but are not visible unless youre really looking for it. And it comes that way from the factory. Nissan emblems however is different since it doesn't come that way from the factory

It seems to me that a good number of people on this forum are superficial enough to have bought their G35 for status, and I really feel like they disagree with the Nissan badge because they feel it lowers the status of the car, period. But fact is, this entry level luxury car is hardly that.
