It seems to me that a good number of people on this forum are superficial enough to have bought their G35 for status, and I really feel like they disagree with the Nissan badge because they feel it lowers the status of the car, period. But fact is, this entry level luxury car is hardly that.
Because the title says infiniti g35 and it will never be a skyline as long as the steering wheel is on the left.

Just a warning, I'm drunk posting a biut here... We aren't the only country to have LHD, but yet we are the only country to have the Infiniti name brand, especaually when it comes to theis car. What prevents them from keeping the SDkyline name? Why couldn't they name the car an Infiniti Skyline? Hell, why isn;t the new GTR a Skyline anymore? (Just food for thought, I already know the answer, I don;t care about your wrong opinions)

And ultimately, my point is, why do you guys give a f*ck if someone rebadges theur G as a Nissan? Does the badge really make that big of a difference in how the car looks? It doesn't matter what the reason is, if someoine rebadges theiur car as a Niossan, they rebadged it as a Nissan. Why would their reason to do that matter at all?

BTW, keep in mind, my g is DEBADGED besides the Infinite road or Mt Fuji badges

I have no idea what you are trying to prove. Do you have some kind of anti Nissan superiority complex?

I'd personally not de-badge my car, but I'm just stating the facts that the cars are exactly the same.

I'm going to leave this argument because of all of the ignorance.

your using the word "exactly" loosely, i'm guessing. no one who owns an Infiniti is anti-Nissan. it just irritates me that people's justification for the emblem swap is that they're the exact same car and that's what the badge should've been. that's just not true, sorry. why can't people just admit, they do it because they think it look's cool? that i don't have a big problem with. just admit that you think Skyline's are cooler. i personally don't think they are, i had an R33 when i was stationed in Okinawa. i wish i coulda had my V35 over there.

Of course I do, but it's because of the skyline heritage. The V35 may be fat, but its not like they decided to make the car any less sporty.

It also isn't like Nissan designed the G35 and said "wait a sec, lets sell this in Japan as the V35!," Unlike the American designed 350z albeit with the Japanese chassis.

You have a G35, they don't sell it in Japan, so be proud it's an Infiniti

And so it goes on! and on!DOMO

When all is said and done its actually a RENAULT

Actually that not quite true, Renault own 44.4% of Nissan, and Nissan own 15% of Renault, so the g35 is part French! how does that grab you?

All I'm saying is, it doesn't matter why someone rebadges their G, it's ultimately their prerogative how they want to mod their cars. Who's to say they're wrong or right? At the end of the day, the Infiniti badged car is still a Nissan.

All it comes down to is if you like it or not, period. And even still, it's that person's car, why do you care how, or even more ridiculous - why they mod it?
