Once you complete the RHD conversion, then Ill be impressed with your "so called" Skyline.... until then I agree with all the ricer comments. The title and registration say Infiniti... you cant change the make of a car just becuz you slap on some different parts

Exactly my point... Last time I checked, Nissan is a multi-billion dollar automaker, not some guy in the US trying to impress people who dont know any better by telling them he has a Nissan Skyline when infact its an Infiniti G35 or G37

the problem with rebadging is normal people don't understand why you would downgrade your car by putting nonluxury emblems on a luxury car

like I had H's on my RSX and one time my bro was buying a 1990 celica gt-s from some bronx gang cop and the guy saw my car and he said something to the effect of "why would you change Acura to Honda? I've seen people put A's on Honda's but not the other way around, why would you downgrade?" And at that point I was like ok I'm selling these because I don't feel like explaining it. it doesn't really impress anyone, they just get confused. But on the other side of the coin, Acura A's have "HONDA" engaved on the back of them and must other pieces of the RSX do as well...I'm sure the G35 is the same, I just haven't taken mine apart to look at it.

Luxury car lines are sort of like factory rice, like a cobalt ss wing or srt-4 exhaust or the way G35s and Z's have single exhaust with a dual tip muffler just for looks and sound, and people eat that stuff up.

^^^ the same exact car is a Nissan in Japan (and the rest of the world)...

That's why people do it. Doesn't have anything to do with a non-luxury brand.

No people here do it because Skyline sounds faster than a g35.

The freaking M35/45 is called a FUGA over in Japan. No one here is rebadging it to a FUGA. lol

It's not about that. People do it because they think it sounds cool.. I've seen about 10+ G's here in socal with the Skyline badge.

I've seen zero 350z with the fairladyz badge.

And Zero M35/45's with the Fuga badge.

ive seen a few fairlady z badges

my bro had soarer badges on his sc300, but part of that was just that he needed a new trunk lid and found one from a soarer

what's ur point? in Japan you'll see hella Skylines, Fairlady's, and Fuga's badged to USDM spec. it's just emblems & badges. what's all the fuss? this subject has been beaten to death and only inspires more worthless posts from newbs.
