changing INFINITI to SKYLINE???
Not to be funny but I think my 03 6mt is ABSOLUTELY a nissan. Inifiniti is a luxury brand and if you drive a 03 G35 coupe you know that MUTHAFUGGA drives like a sports car....a 4 seat 350Z. I believe the the 02-03 model "Skyline" (because the car came out a year earlier in Japan) is classified as the V35. Thats is the infiniti g35 here. And if you really want to get technical OUR cars are rebadged. Some people are just putting back the correct badges. Look people, rebadging is a preference pure and simple. For one glorious year we have the honor of being owners of geniune Skylines. If you notice, the new "Skyline" is called the GTR....and theres your difference. Now can we get back to eye-humping each others cars?? Geez....
someone with 23 posts who apparently thinks its cool to rebadge your car in hopes of trying to fool the majority of the population they drive a different car than they actually do.....
I guess I just like my car enough that I dont need to impress other people by telling them its a different make/model than what it came from the factory...

You purchased your car in the U.S.
Therefore you BOUGHT and OWN an Infiniti

Actually I bought a Nissan. I've owned this car for 5yrs but bcuz I have 23posts I'm a NEWB. LMAO. You drive a Nissan as well my friend. Your car wasn't manufactured in the US. If you go anywhere else in the world and look at a "G35" its a Skyline 350GT or 250GT. If you wanna believe your driving something superior to the next man bcuz some marketing genius said "Lets make Americans pay more for the same Japanese car by calling it something else!" And way to insult everyone on the forum who puts SKYLINE on their car as trying to b cool or fool ppl into thinking they drive some other car. Lmao. Some ***** from the guy with "SKYLINE" grill. But whatever man... u bought an Infiniti and I bought a Infiniti that's really a Nissan... totally different cars!!
I guess I just dont understand the thinking behind it....
So anyone driving a Jeep or Dodge owns/bought a Chrysler? Just because theyre subsidiaries, it doesnt matter, its Chrysler no matter what?
Same thing with a Cavalier. In Japan, Toyota produced the Toyota Cavalier for many years... so that means everyone in Japan owns a Chevrolet and not a Toyota because they were produced in the US with RHD and shipped overseas?
Its called branding... just because companies own other companies doesnt mean everything that is produced under that parent company is the same across the board.
Look at the title to your car.. It doesnt say Nissan anywhere on it.
Infiniti dealerships are Nissan dealerships? If theyre all Nissans why are there Infiniti dealerships? Its its own company, thats why.
Is everything SKYLINE with you? How is my grille skyline? Its an aftermarket fiberglass grille not even made by Nissan or Infiniti. Again I just dont understand the rationality.

Lmao. No they are not the same thing buddy! U win, everyone who puts Skyline or 350GT or whatever on the back of their G35 that's made in the exact same factory is a poser... u have shown me the light brother! Thank you so much for educating this NEWB on where my car was manufactured & imported from. The car is whatever the owner wants it to be at the end of the day so u drive an Infiniti G35 as ur badge says & I drive a Skyline 350GT same engine, same aftermarket parts, same everything. To each his own. We shall agree to disagree, we don't need yo understand each others logic. It is what it is! Good day sir! Lol (I love the internet)
Well if thats the case, since I apparently drive/own a Nissan, Im gonna slap Renault badges on my car and start telling people I own a Renault since Renault and Nissan formed a partnership in 1999....
