I Wrecked My Car!!
I Wrecked My Car!!
so i kinda sorta wrecked my dark blue g35. i was driving while it was raining\snowing and i was switching lanes when i lost control. i turned sideways and hopped up onto a curb, bashed the side of my car into a tree, the car flipped onto its side, and the front end went straight into a parked pick up truck. after all of that, i opened my sunroof and walked out.
Glad you're here to post about it and not in the hospital! Were you wearing your belt? Which airbags went off?
Hey, are those summer tires? In the snow?
Looks totaled, I'd never want my car back after a crash like that...

no trip to the hospital which is beyond belief. this was like 2hours before the homecoming dance at school which made me REALLY mad lol
of course i was wearing my belt! saddly tho, no airbags went off which is kinda scary.
this is in arkansas so we dont see snow except for like twice a year so didnt bother changing the tires

Snow two times was enough to total your car though right
All it takes is 1 time on summer tires to end up crashing your car and doing more damage than the $1000 you would have spent on snows

Air bags prob didn't go off, cause they didn't need to. Seeing how you came out unscathed, apparently the airbag computer made the right calculation.
They go off when they need to. I can vouch for that. It depends on the type of crash and where the major inertial forces act on the car. I've hit a Jersey barrier at almost 50 mph with a side impact, with no airbag going off, and hardly felt the impact, yet I rear ended a car at less then 30 once, and got popped in the face by a steering wheel air bag. Oh, and glad to see your ok.

Those are some scary photos. I'm very happy you walked away from it. Too bad you had summer tires in the snow. You might have either not driven in it, or driven slower. I'm sorry for your loss. Twilight Blue is a sweet color.

glad you made it out alright though... good luck!
