Affect of g37 on g35's.

With the arrival of the new g37 in a couple of months, do you guys think this will make the prices of the g-coupe and sedan drop down drastically? Thanks.

I think G35 prices will drop the longer you wait to get one. I just got an 07 coupe at the dealer's cost. My salesperson said he has 6 deposits on the G37.

I wouldn't go that far, even with no solid pricing the g37 is doing extremely well around here with presales. It's a nice car with m3 power for 15-20k less, it will do well. But I still like my 04 Coupe body more.

I am betting that the G37c will have a definite effect on G35c sales. i am sure it won't be as huge as what happened when the 2007 sedan's came out. this is the main reason that i am holding off buying a coupe, with the new gen out for sale there is no way that the 1st gen cars will be able to keep up their sale prices.

I say not much at all. Now, wait a couple of years until there are some used G37s, then it is a different story. People who buy used G35's aren't in the market for a new G37, so I say it isn't affecting the price just yet.

How about this how many on you guys or girls that have posted are interested in buying a new g37. As for people who buy 35 not in the market for the coupe that is completely false. I choose my G over a M3 so the money has nothing to do with it at least for me and the people I know on other boards.

I chose my E90 over my G35 and G37.

I do expect the price of the 2007 coupes to lower...
problem i suspect is supply and demand.. there wont be alot of g37s around so the g35 is still avail at a negotiated cost vs the hard to get g37 at msrp.

anyways good luck !

ppp

I expect the 2007 coupes to lower also. Riverside Infiniti is having deals on the 07 coupes because they expect that once the G37 comes out.... how many people would want the G35 if they had the option to get the G37?

Personally I like the G35 body style a lot better... so if it's speed that is concerning you, spend the money you would to upgrade to the g37 on forced induction, then see which one is faster
