Effects/Damage on the Car by stalling

Hey, I'm a new 07 Coupe Owner and I've been learning stick on my new car but I've stalled quite a bit, although I've cut it down after a few days...I was just wondering about the effects or damages of stalling on the car. I'm just really worried about the car since I stalled so many times on the first day, I'd say about 50.

I wouldnt worry about it too much. only the motor mounts, tranny, rear end, shaft, axles, clutch, flywheel, will take the shock

But really dont worry about it too much. I would worry more about slipping the clutch too lightly, youl glaze that flywheel real quick.

50 stalls is quite a bit.

yeah...it was my first day that i did it...=| i dont really stall now it's just engaging the first/second gears that take me a long time so traffic usually honks me, but whats slipping the clutch too lighty?

I think he means what peoplea also call riding the clutch. Basically giving too much gas while the clutch is still engaged. You have to do it some for smooth transitions but too much = bad for your clutch.

Give it more gas, you shouldnt be having that issue.

Now you ask..........!

A week prior to getting your G you should have gone to "Rent a Wreck" and
learned on one of their POS vehicles. That way you're not tearing up a
$40K car........I know hindsight! Everyone in my family learned how to drive
a stick before they got their license and it wasn't alway fun......haha

take a deep breath and dont be nervous or paranoid about it. the more youre worried about it, the more youre going to stall, the second you feel as if youre going to stall, wither give it more gas or depress the clutch. remember the handbrake is there for a reason so while youre still learning use it to youre advantage. Im no expert myself but i found it easier using the handbrake during certain situation( ex. car rolling back)

cant u just have the car in neutral and then press the brake on a hill? and it wont roll back? then depress the clutch and put into first and take your foot off the brake and accelerate while releasing the left foot off the clutch. am i right?

Trust me, you will know when you're doing harm to your car.
