Found someone selling an Is250 stick, supposedly Lexus never solf these in stick. What do you guys think. Its the slower 250 but look. It was on craigslist.com, the shifter looks funny maybe a swap or...?.

I dont think its rare at all. My sister walked in and bought one right out of the dealership lot. Cool little cars but just too small for me.

Indeed, the IS250 comes in both manual and auto. The 350 does not.
You guys should flag this post as "prohibited". The seller is intentionally misleading by saying that the vehicle is "special ordered," implying that it was custom made for him/her.

I still don't see what is rare about the 6speed 250?

His post is not necessarily incorrect. In the midwest and NE, they do not sell manual IS's off of the lot. They did for the first few months after initial introduction, but since then can only be special ordered. They do have manual IS's on the lot down south from what I understand.
