Wow, I actually never got to see this thread lol.
How old did you think I was? lol I was 19 in the pic, 20 now.
Anyway, after not being in his car for about 7 months of it being in the impound, and having been in numerous other G sedans over the 7 month period, I noticed a huge difference when I got back into DieselX's car. I'm actually more amazed at the difference now than after the day everything was done and put together. It really feels like a more quiet, luxurious ride, and the road noise definitely decreased. We also put extra foam padding underneath the carpet so maybe that helped a lot with the road/exhaust noise.
We got a few more big projects coming in the next few months that'll hopefully do some damage to your jaws.

No atleast $200. The "Dynamat" (actually fatmat) was like $165 shipped and the other stuff from home depot was another $20+
