Test drove the G37

I took my car in this morning for a free oil change and they let me test drive the new G37S. I am so glad that I did not wait for it's arrival and I'm happy that I purchased my G35 Sedan. The drive itself was amazing. It handled better, felt like it had more torque throughout the entire rpm range and was very well composed. The one fatal drawback? I am only 5'10.5" and even with the driver seat at it's lowest setting, I found my head on the headliner. Extremely uncomfortable and I could not see out the front very well. My brother in law just purchased the previous G35 coupe and it had a ton more headroom. Was Nissan designing this for the Japanese?

I'm 6'4" and I had no problem with headroom at all when I drove the G37 with sunroof.

I'm 5'11" and I had no issue with my head hitting the roof. Are you sure you weren't sitting on a telephone book?

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. Yes the seat was lowered and when I was talking to the service manager he said that was the reason he didn't purchase one. He said that many people had commented on the low roof line. For those of you that have purchased the G37, congrats. It's a wonderful car. I wish the engine was available in the Sedan.
