Speedometer / cluster difference with navigation

Hey all, I bought a g35 that was wrecked and the cluster was removed so I was wondering, my car is a coupe, 6spd with out navigation. Can I use a cluster from a 6spd coupe that had navigation? What is the difference on the clusters with and without navigation.

their shouldnt be a difference at all. There isnt a connection between the two pieces. The only difference is the wiring in the stereo/console area thats set up for the navi. The antenna wiring and harnesses too. Im not 100% percent because I have an 03 but it shouldnt matter.

Im told that your new cluster will start "rolling" at the last mileage it was on. So it will change the mileage no matter how illegal that may be.

i know this is an old thread, but it does matter. you cant stick a cluster that was built for navi with a car that doesnt have it. you will be stuck in limp mode. ive tried it.
