G35 vs. Other Options??

I had a Corvette that turned into a mechanical nightmare. I wanted to replace it with something sporty, preferably with a back seat for the munchkin. The G35 coupe is the only thing I considered based upon looks, features, and reliability.

I had a ~77 280Z 2+2, not sure about the year, could have been a '76. Bronze with black louvers on the hatch, 4 speed. My dad drove it for a couple of years and gave it to me while I was in college.

Test drive each of the cars that you wanted and decide what works for you. All i can say is although the G35 coupe has small trunk and a heavy clutch, I still get it over 325i of the same year because of performance and styling....

louvers.... hahaha... i had louvers on my 81 celica.

to be honest it was between this an an sti. not exactly in the same category but i still wonder if i would have preferred the sti considering the way i drive and my first winter (like yesterday for all you east coasters).

My G is my first ride ever :P (since I'm only 16)... aren't i lucky. I was lookin into used mustangs and other cheaper cars, but I found my 05' G coupe with only 39k miles for a decent price and I pounced on that tiger =].

lucky i didnt get a car till i was 17-18 and even then it was a 92 acura integra /jellous
