streak in window
I have a long streak on my passagers side window. I rubbed and rubbed and it wont come off. Something must be rubbing some sort of lub from inside the door pannel. I also noticed that it rolls up and down a lot slower than the drivers side window. And when I want to put the window up I have to press the button a few times before it actually starts to go up.
Can anybody help me with this problem or knows what the true cause of this is?

Have you recently had the dealer fix a “rattle”?… The reason I ask is that often they use silicone instead of felt pads… they did that with mine before I took it back and had them shim with felt pads (this was right when the TSB came out)…
If it is silicone, it’s a b!tch to get off – but if you use a good window cleaner and buff & buff & buff it will eventually come off… mine took several washes and lots of buffing before it was gone for good.
BTW, don’t push on the window when you clean it off… that will only bring the rattle back. (this is all of course if your streak is from the same thing as mine was).

no, i haven't taken it to the dealership yet. Its not a rattling noise. The noose sounds more like something is pressing really hard on the window sorts like a squeaky noise. Also I noticed when I put the window down, the window shifts quite a bit. I know it usualy shifts a little but it is shifting way more than it should.
