Why must my car guzzle like a V8 :(

So i live in san jose, and i drove up to stockton today... filled up my tank before i left, i am now home im 2lttle lines under 3/4 tank! looked at my fuel econ im getting 25mpg GEEZ... But i did have a question... There was a GT who wanted to "play" on the freeway but i held my self back cuz i had my niece in the car. at a 70mph start who would win? the gt(just driver) or a g coupe 6spd driver +(2passengers total weight between the 2 about 350lbs)

consider yourself lucky.

as for who is faster, does it really matter? what difference is it going to make?

WTF, 25 mpg is nothing to complain about. That sounds good to me. I think my car is averaging about 22 mpg.

What the heck? I get about 25mpg in my Toyota Camry and I'm happy with it. I don't know what you were expecting or driving before, where 25mpg is considered a gas guzzler. You should be happy you aren't getting 15mpg like some people on here.

25 mpg is pretty good. I averaged about 20-21 mpg in my 4 cylinder Acura TSX and in my 08 G35, I usually average 16 mpg. Hell, even on a long 260 mile all highway trip, I couldn't do better than 22.5 mpg.
