TPMS issue

06 G35 5AT

Weather has dipped below -15C here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
TPMS has turned on. Seems like the light turns on when it dips below freezing.
Anyone experience this as well?

From: Trolling a forum near u.... (T.O.)
check your tire pressure. with colder weather.. u'll find the psi drop in your wheels. just pump some more air into them.

Your tires will drop (or rise) roughly 1 psi for each 10 degrees F (~5.5C) change in ambient temperature.
You need to readjust your cold pressures for the lower winter temps.
Obviously that's more difficult where ambient temps can vary greatly from day to day, so you might have to shoot for the middle of the range and watch them closely (like weekly).
If you reset your pressures when it's -15C, you could gain easily 5 or 6 psi during your next chinook.

Go Riders Go!

thanks for the info. I will have to readjust my psi on my tires. Usually when i do that, the TPMS light turns off.
