not sure if anyone can help me with this.. but what happened was a few days ago, the "seat belt holder" on my driver side broke.. (it's the thing that holds the seat belt in place.. located on the drivers seat's left side of the shoulder rest..) i was wondering if this is covered under warranty?

i called costa mesa infiniti and they were being an a** about it.. they said only defects are covered under warranty and implied i broke it. i have an 07 g35 coupe that i bought in march.. i feel like for a $40k car, at least back up their stuff.. and this is the same dealer i bought my car at and their service sucks..

 

i dont see why it wouldnt be covered under warranty... how did it brake?
