Does G37 make the G35 seem like "OUTDATED"?

Same Here. But then G35 interior has that conservative, classy yet high tech look. Sort of like those 3-piece home stereo, made up of metal, glass, wood, orange lights.

I assume you're going to have this car for a while, and if you're so unsure about it then why not just save up your pennies for a G37? I mean the difference between a used G35 coupe and a new/slightly used G37 is under $10k in some instances as close as $5-6k, that's not an unrealistically huge amount to swing.

I saw if you're dropping high $20's on a car that you're gonna own for five years or so, you may as well be completely happy with it. Then again I don't know your financial situation!

But if I were you I would just mod the heck out of your G35 (IP is the best color for modding IMO!!) and enjoy.

I'm sorry but the fact of the matter is that you (and most of us here) do own last generations car.

Its ok, although the front of the g37 looks nice, the back doesn't compare to the g35. When you drive a pretty quick car, the back of the car is all people see. .

I think we can all agree that "dated" isn't the correct term to use for the G35 body style. "not as new-looking" would be more correct since the G35 still looks fresh except when parked next to the new body style

How about referring to their real body style names V35 and V36 respectively.

Just be happy with your car. It doesn't matter if the G37 is newer or nicer inside, or has a bigger engine. They'res always a car thats going to be newer and nicer and has a bigger engine. They'res going to be a new M3, S5, and IS-F coming out very soon. Those are newer, nicer, and have bigger engines. Until you get a Jay Leno car collection, you'll always want whats next.

You have a great car. Its fun to drive, enjoy it. Then when the right time comes again for a new car, you can get the nicest newest thing.

I am proud to own the first gen of one of the most amazing looking cars ever made. It is going to be a classic in it own class where auto makers bite its style for years to come.

Just as the 07 G35 sedan looked somewhat newer and updated over the 06 and earlier sedans when it first came out, so does the G37. However, now when I see a 07+ sedan I'm not sure immediately if it's the early or newer version until I look closer. Give it some time and the G37 will begin to look more familiar and blend into the basic design of the G35. Let's face it, the G37 will never be mistaken for any other car than the newer version of the G35. I still think that the original version is just about perfect in it's design and probably will remain so for a long time to come.

I understand that new years/models should be better than last or else why make them...but really, how much better can it get? Can we guess what the next generation G will have that the current 08 G's don't. Do we really need all the new technologies in our cars? I don't, and that's why I picked the car I did because it's suffice for me. Also, I'm glad the 08 G35/G37 actually resemble the older models, which means the first model did something right.

Who wants an old car? People who admire the original VQ35, people who collect old cars i.e. AE86, R33 and R34, S13, FC3S. shall I go on? IMO, the G35 will be an icon and a classic in time- it's the first "Skyline" with the VQ platform.

Some people have paid off their G's and may not wanna pay for a new G37 which can still use some refinement in their opinion. SOme folks have invested a lotta money into their current G's which probably outpower the G37. Some maybe saving up for a BIGGER upgrade like an M3 or possibly a GT-R, like my neighbor.

I can't agree with your comments about the G35 looking RETARDED and being an OLD CAR...but it is your opinion so "to each their own".... After all, next year you TOO will have the OLD CAR homie!

BTW, I love my G35 SEDAN!
If Infiniti would give you a free car would you still choose the old G35 or G37.
G37 is way better. and yes the Old G35 cars looks like a Bug to me.

As a G37 owner, whenever I see a G35C on the road, it reminds of me how much I like the exterior styling of the G35 better. If I could have gotten all the improvements of the G37 on a G35C body, that would be the perfect car IMO.
