I need a new Key made

My car only came with 1 master key plus the valet key. Can I get a duplicate master key made without the Key #???

For future reference, im pretty sure they can make a key of your VIN number.l

And another way to do it and not pay $200 at the dealer is to go to a certified locksmith. They can cut a key and program it for you. Around here in ny they charge about $90.
