engine itself should be the last thing u should worry about. It will hold up longer than anything else on the car. Do the proper maintenance and do it early and u will not have any major problems with the car.

^Im not familiar with the used market of the G but 110k miles it better be very well maintaned.

If i needed to buy that car i would spend about $500 to change all the fluids in the car. Tranny/engine/diff/brake. Make sure there is nothing wrong with it, like jerky shifts if its 5AT or if its 6mt make sure none of the gears grind. Also if it is 6mt ask them if the tranny has been changed on the car. I think majority of us on the forum who have 03-04 6mt have had our transmition replaced with a "updated" tranny. There was a defect on 6MT tranny with grinding issues to 5th gear. Make sure that is not the case with the car u are getting.

That price sounds really good, I am selling my 03 Accord for 8500 with 114k miles, so I would be very careful, make sure it has not been wrecked.

Sometimes carfax does not have all the information, so really look into the frame, look for paint evidence, check the edges of the body frame etc.

And for that price consider a pre purchase inspection from an independent small shop.

thanks for all the suggestions/help......everything was fine when i looked at it and took it for a drive, i know what to look for when it comes to body damage and being painted considering my dad has a body shop (i have learned alot from him) and it drive smooth no jerks or anything. i had someone else also look at and overall the car was quiet and hasn't been wrecked, it also has new tires on it. so i am still thinking about getting it!! maybe i'll be able to say i drive a G!!!
