Question Vdc, Slip, Abs Lights All On???

hey guys/girls...ok for some reason all my lights came on...i thought it was due to my car needing a oil change, since i was due for one...so i went and got it done w/ a fuel injection cleaning...well anyways none of the lights went out..now im confused ...i was going thru a bunch of threads and i found one that was talking about needing to change my brake pads..but is that the only reason it could be on????....lately my brakes have been squeaking pretty bad...and if thats the reason can anyone recommend me some good brake pads or should i stick with the oem ones?...i have a '03 mt coupe w/ the brembos...

thanks in advance

Hmmm . . . You may want to take your car in and have it looked at.

^ Agree....especially with ALL on. Think that's more than telling you about your brakes.

Mine twice has had the 'slip' 'ras' 'vdc off' light on and doesn't turn off until I park and restart my G. Never found out why, but hasn't done that again for about a month

hey i forgot to let everyone know that i also installed test pipes w/out resonator on my car about a month ago...and no lights came on!..but i was told that ur check engine light is the only one that would turn on if that!....i dont really want to take it to Cerritos Infiniti cause they charge u a grip just to take a look..i think like a $100 just for attaching it to that one machine that reads whats is exactly wrong with the car....

If your under warrany there should be no chrg unless they know and want to be not cool about your test pipes. Depends on mod friendly dealer or not

Or... go to Autozone. They, at least here in NorCal, will read your ecu for any fault codes free. Might help u get closer to your problem without dealer if it has thrown fault codes.

I know how to fix this lol...add brake fluid, and they will go off. If it's not up to the full line, they will go on, this happened to me. Gotta love how they rig these lights.

Wow...so all the lights go on when low on brake fluid? Interesting. I'll have to remember that.

Nope I don't know why, but I know once I filled up the brake fluid to the full line, they all went right back off. They say only to worry if this happens frequently and then to take it in to get checked, but so far mine has been good after toping off the fluid. I hope you saw this before you took your car in.

Same thing just happened to me. Indeed it was simply low brake fluid causing the problem. Top it off and you should be fine.
