Quick Help Plz...

Ok I just installed a SpoilerDepot spoiler on my 05 coupe and have everything wired in the right rear taillight. Evertyhing works and looks good but now that it is night I dont have any night time lights. Like the lights that come on when your sensor sences nighttime. I have headlights, taillights, spoiler light, guage cluster, temp light. But no radio nighttime light, or steering wheel button lights, or parking lights. However when I arm/disarm my car the parking lights do light up briefly so i know there is power, I cycled through all options on the headlight/parking light control....what did I do wrong?

Thanks

Double check your wiring, and also, double check your fuses just to be safe.

Could bad wiring be the cause of not getting accessory lights inside the car? I would think if something was shorted out then I wouldnt have taillights or spoiler lights?

try disconnecting that spoiler light and see if the interior panel lights comes back on....if the panel/interior lights doesn't come back on, you might have blown a fuse

Would it be the fuse in the car on the driver's side or the fuses under the battery?

I have no clue ...i haven't actually paid attention on what and where certain fuses are. Couldn't hurt to check both places since most of them are labeled anyways. Maybe someone that knows will chime in.

Any idea where I can find the service manual for a 2005 coupe that would show the fuse layout? I searched and was unsuccessful.

Just a thought... Make sure the dimmer switch isn't turned all the way down. It's by the VDC Off button.

What you guys see there was EXACTLY my problem....thanks to everyone for their input though. Looks like what I had is a common problem it just took a few hours of searching G35driver to figure out the solution.

For people who have there parking lights, interior acc. lights, and liscense plate light go out its more then likely the 10A fuse in the very upper left of the fuse box BEHIND and TO THE LEFT of the battery. Biggest pain in the azz ever! And it is possible to get to it without taking the battery out; I just had to loosen the bracket and slide it to the right alittle. Check the pics in the link above for added assistance. THANKS!
