I have been sitting here all morning trying to find a vanity plate with G35 in it that they will accept and it says all of them are unavailable. Maybe they just don't like G35s?

 

I've seen G35's with vanity plates in Cali before, maybe you should call the dmv or go there in person.

 

Thats what I am figuring I have to do. I know sometimes they don't allow certain number and letter combinations, but I dont see how G35 could be banned for any reason. I have never had this problem on any other car I owned.

 

If you really want something you can take it to court and fight it.

I know a guy who's license plate is HELLASS.. DMV thought he was trying to put it *** "HELL ***" but hellass is a greek word and he was greek.. He took it to court and won.

 

I think the OP is implying that all the combinations of G35 are taken because everything he submits is rejected... mine has G35 in it - so yes, they allow it - just find the combo that's unique enough to not already be taken.

 

What a liar... Hellas is the greek word for Greece. NOT hellass. If he took that to court I find it very hard to believe that he won.

When DMV denies you a vanity plate combo, it's b/c someone else in Cali already has that one.
Keep trying and you'll find a combo no one has.
Took me over 8 related combos to finally get mine and it wasn't G35 related either lol.
Call DMV if your over 90 days. Not supposed to take longer than that.

 

Well I just started trying random letters with G35 so thats why I figured.

It let me put FKURMOM though. :P

 

Don't tell me you actually got that for your car!!!!

 

Hahah just use that one i guess FKURMOM who wants to use G35 anyway haha
