Help me convince my parents to buy a G35

Ok, maybe I should explain the situation a little bit better.

I don't drive that much, especially since I don't have my senior liscence, I often drive with friends. I won't be spending that much money on gas since I don't drive that much.
The main reason I want this car is for after college. If I pay my Dad now, in 4 years the car will be mine, and I won't have any other payments to worry about, instead of buying a new car when I'm out of college.
I have a full ride to college. I do not need to worry about student loans. I will have a job in college, 2 during the summer. I won't even have the car in college, my sister will be driving it to high school, where she pays for gas and whatever else damage she causes to it.
I will pay 300 a month during the summer, and then 150 for 2 months during the winter. My sister will be chipping in. I work my *** off, I am not spoiled at all, but I do know what I want. To me, this seems very reasonable. During the 4 years, the car will probably go up to 40,000 miles because that is how rarely it is driven.

You drink a lot... That costs a lot of money. I know... I make close to $30 an hour full time and I had to give up booze for GAS recently. If I do the same calculation as someone did for you already then it would seem I only need about 1500/month, but looking at my statements its a good 1k more than what it should be every month, if I were just looking at basic bills. Random **** always comes up and you have no way of controlling it. Do a calculation of all your monthly expenses then double it - thats the amount of money you REALLY need to make to afford the G.

DONT BUY A G35.. keep the corolla if your paying for gas..

yo don't trade in your corolla dude, you lose so much money that way. The way I see it is this..
You're giving up a brand new Corolla to pay $7,000 for a used car. Even though it's a G, I'd say stick with your corolla. That way you can relax during your college years and summers rather than hate the next 4 years of your life where you work your butt off to pay.
I was in your situation though, three years ago, my parents bought me a brand new highlander. I didn't like it but worked with it, threw some subs in and pimped it out for a bit. After 3 years and 50k miles, they hooked me up with a new G.
I vote that you just show that you appreciate it and tough it out for a few years and then get something else later on. Besides, that G isn't gonna get you any play in college if your sis will be driving it...

If you can't afford the car right now, don't buy it.
You want to own the car and not let the car own you.
Not only the car you're owning, you have insurance (much higher) and gas (much higher). Corolla sucks (I agree) but they're one hell of gas saving car especailly with gas so expensive nowadays, and it will only get higher.
