Ha thanks guys, I'll probably stay on these boards to learn a little bit more about the G, and pros and cons with the newer versions.

Yea, that's what sucks about it, nothing can be done really. And the engine, for some reason when you floor it from 0 or 5 or something does not put in full power. I hate that fact.

And tinting is illegal in PA btw, which is where I live

I think I can do the back door windows, but that would look retarded if the front ones are just no tint at all

my moms and dads cars only have the rear... it doesnt look that bad...

hey i just wanted to let you know that i was in the same boat you were in when i was getting my g35.. i was only 16.. im truely sorry it didnt work out for you man..

but in all seriousness, if i paid for my own gas and own insurance, and had to pay 7grand for my g35.... i would WAY rather have the corolla.. hope that makes you feel better

Mine is black with a grey interior. Mine isn't the S version either. Those are also real wheels in the pic, mine are dingy plastic clips ons.

Too many people on this thread are just hating..... I applaud the kid for striving to better his auto situation and take on responsibility....School and merely walking the earth for a few more years does not prove responsibility.....having responsibilities and successfully managing them makes you responsible...

Convince them however you can.....Don't fck up once you've got it (make the payments, no dui's, no obscene speeding tickets).......and enjoy the hell outta that beautiful ride.

P.s. imo I would go with a mt sedan....it will ease the insurance costs

make sure your not asking for too much.. also dont take what you have for granted.. a lot of kids out there would die for any car at all and you have a brand new car.. i know your thinking thats easy for me to say cause i have a g35 but just make sure your thankful for what you have.. and if your paying for your own gas.... DONT BUY A G35.. keep the corolla if your paying for gas..
+1.

Did the same thing

I'd honestly drive an 88' civic beater with 200k miles and no a/c over that corolla.
