the dumbest thing for me was thinking i could clear a drive through car wash when i had my veilside kit on.. i heard it scrape not knowing it was damaging my car.. but i ended up driving around the rest of the day without a underwing on my drivers side - after i noticed it i went back and it was laying there.. so i put it back on that night. i felt so stupid and ill never go through a drive thru wash ever again.

I was once (long time ago when I had Eagle Talon) racing Integra and dude crashed into the very very tall curb, could not handle the turn.

in richmond bc we have a really good touchless carwash
but its like 20 dollars, unfortunately they failed to mention that the products they use damages polished wheels.....
my bro asked me to take his car to the touchless carwash, i said sure. took it through, after it was done, seemed fine......but then the next next day you see some sort of soapy mark-look on all the wheels, as if it just needs to be wiped, and around the window's it gave a rainbow look(this is a black sl55 amg)
turns out, there products destroyed my bro's wheels(custom savini's sv8)
and we went over to the carwash(took our atterney) and threatened them saying if they dont repair our car then we would sue them and have this place shut down!
they paid for everything
each wheel costed 1000 to re-do, and the trim around the window costed 500 just to replace!

ahahaha this thread is great. but not as good as the nsfw thread on here. i would say my dumbest thing was thinking i was in the gear selecting mode and it was in drive so i thought i was up shifting and threw it in neutral then the rpms were still high and i threw it back into "D" and did a neural drop on accident.

but this thread makes me feel good bout my expriences
couple of weeks after i got it, was driving home from a car show with my buddy when it starts to show.. well im across the city so i decide to take the highway back home, long story short, when i was doing 120km+ didnt even slip but when i slowed down to 40km i did 360 hit the ditch, still sliding pulled the handbrake, still sliding stoped a meter away from a semi, in oncoming traffic,
also let my buddy smoke in my car, next day i realized there is a hole in my headliner, hole in the floor carpet,
let another take off with my car.. left a huge trail of smoke and tire marks
had no thread left 15 mins later... but i bought new tires and rims same week so its cool

That happens to me a couple times a week.. I always let the revs come down before I get back in "D" though.

Another stupid thing: Let my brother drive the G when I went to cali for the weekend.
He couldn't handle how loud the exhaust was so he left it parked at home the whole weekend

like 5months ago i was passsing by some community streets and passed by a fully race 67 mustang and i was just in aww. i was still driving while i was looking at it and next thing i know.. WAM! i hit a garbage can.. one of the big green miami dade ones lol knocked it over. spilled two bags on the floor.. felt kinda bad so i put them back in the garbage and dipped lol stupidest thing ive done
