When I'm at work and it looks like we might get hail, I move my car under a tree in a nearby grass field. The "stupid" moment hasn't happened yet, but some day, I just know that tree is going to get struck by lightning and clobber the G. But hey, at least I won't have hail damage!

This happened to me just yesterday. I was turning into a circle driveway with a tight curb space and scratched the front right OEM 19 rim. Now I have curb rash 3 inches on the edge of the rim. I was soo mad

I know how you feel I was like that the whole afternoon especially because I said I'd never scratch these rims ever....then that happened

Had installed a lip relying only on ddl sided tape to hold in place rushing to a Nissan Show-off show my G was in. Then few days later had to rush ~400mi down to SoCal knowing I should've put lip mount screws on soon after the show few days back. Got to SoCal and while still on fwy lip fell off, I ran over it and saw it shoot out from behind me in rearview mirror Then a truck behind me crush it further to its death Live and learn

I JUST DID ANOTHER STUPID THING
was driving home from a funeral, all depressed i kind of zoned out,
and out of no where a rabbit decided to runn out in front of my car
so i scream "NO MY BUMPER" and swerve around it
not knowing that there was gravel on the road,
i span out and slamed into the curb right before stoping
so im like oh crapp.. i pull over up ahead..
Damage report:
front Rim has madd curb rash on the whole lip,
one point of rim is bent, and im betting my alignment is off now(not livable)

rear rim, tiny bits of curb rash but my tire took alot of the damage
and saved my rim (its livable)

Paint from bumper got scraped...

so now im depressed even more..

this last weekend i went through a narrow drive thru at carls jr. took the turn to wide and scraped my oem lip on the side. scratches are mainly on the bottom, but from the angle they are clearly visible. little upset with myself, cause i been throught that drive thru plenty of time before. i got some touch up paint hopefully it blends in well.
