Remember that the first picture is taken with macro so you could imagine how small the chip actually is. Im just dissapointed that it could crack so easily. I've been driving on the same freeways for 7 years and have been put in the same elements w/o no breakage till now.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. A rock hit my windshield and before I had time to register what happened a foot long crack spread across. Sucked I talked to some glass places and they said that the very edges of the windshield are the weak spots. What are you going to do?
