i was starting to become content with...

my simple bolt on mods, until last night when an evo blew my doors off. call it a pissing match if you want but i now want more power. i really wasnt looking to go F/I before. I was actually planning on buying a second car to go all out on. the g was gonna be my everyday driving car that looked and sounded really nice. but now i kinda want more. im still trying to see what else i could do to boost my NA power, but its so tempting.

So you're going to spend xxxxxx dollars just because ONE car got the best of you?

I won't say don't do it; but think about it: does it really matter? No matter how much you spend, there will always be a faster better car.

Just enjoy your G bro. Let the other 2Fast2Furious wannabes waste their time on that stuff.....

Spend the same amount of money you'll be spending on a build and boost on a 92 or so Integ rolling chassis and K Series motor, etc... and you should be able to smoke that EVO without boost.

i actually wanted an auto. shifting was a pain for everyday driving. i do a lot of city driving where i live. i actually had an evo before and the shifting got old fast. and yea as for the other mods, i have strupp headers, FI hfc's, and a motordyne 5/16's spacer in my garage. im waiting to i get my exhaust so i can just put everything on at once. i had the exhaust but ups dented it in delivery so i had to send it back and sit patiently while they are replacing it.
and i want straightline fast. goin fast around turns is too risky when i have to pay for anything that might happen. oh and the point of this thread was basically for me to complain about losing to the evo. espcecially since i had one and got rid of it.

Auto> Manual... You can sit back and relax if u want or u can go all out.

Seriously, manuals are old and out dated.. Go back to the 90's because these are the golden years of technology. Auto FTMFW!

If your barely going through traffic, buy a civic for everyday and G for racing or something.

true, manuals are old style and the auto is the new way to go...for old farts (j/p)

but for some odd resone auto just cant preform the way a manual can (i feel the new twin cluch auto argument will rise) or at least yet when it comes to prefomance. so ill stick to my stick shift in the new millenium

oh and umm the auto isnt really "new" technology...the first automatic that was mass produced was in the 1940 Oldsmobile (wikipedia approved)...

so i guess ill be stuck in traffic with my cluch and not worrie about anything....unless my left foot falls off....

swap the chassis w/ some sort of audi.. I remember seeing a guy use an audi chassis into his civic and he turned it into a RWD

well i mean thats not the only driving i do. its just what i gotta do to get to school every day. and i dont wanna do that for a few reasons. the main one being that i dont wanna have what ever car im building for a really long time. i wanna buy something cheap build it up and have fun doing it. then sell it for a little more money. then maybe get an rx7, and keep workin my way up ya know? plus the g is auto and it would be more fun to have a stick for my faster car.... and parts are so much cheaper for just about every other car.
