Man...if I were you, I wouldn't touch the car myself. Bring the car back the dealership and let them deal with it. Don't give them any excuse to void your warranty or give you trouble.

On a serious note though, you are really really lucky that you didn't do big time damage to the car. Friend of mine lost the oil plug in her VW and seized the engine within 40 miles.

Your gonna have to search on this with the burning exhaust. I remember this came up a couple of months ago, and the dealer told the guy that a plastic bag or something was burning in his exhaust but it didn't go away.

I never remember finding out what the problem was though

Heres the thread:
https://g35driver.com/forums/intake-...ust-smoke.html

Theres no final result, so pm the OP and ask him what happened.

So the dealer put a new proper drain plug in and shampooed the bottom of the car, which helped alot with the oil burning...gave me a couple free oil changes...Im just glad they didnt give me any troubles.....

Where did you manage to get a drain plug from in the middle of a road trip?

surprisenly canadian tire...gf's little brother was able to go and pick one up along with all the other things i would need....really saved my ***, haha...I had to wait for about 4 1/2 hours till he got to us but it saved me $900 towing it back to the dealer...even tho they paid for the things i had to buy, but didnt know what they would do at that moment....
