ECU question.

I just got done doing an extensive search on this topic, However I still need help. I'v read that Reseting your ECU after installing new mods; Intake, Spacer,Exhaust ECt.... can be helpful... is there a special method on how to RESET the ECU correctly I'v heard that by Unplugging the Negative terminal on the BAT for 12+hrs will RESET it.. Dose that method work?...is it even necessary to do this after getting new mods??

Thanks

First of all it is not NECESSARY to do it after you put new mods on. It is not good to make a judgment about the mods for a week or so unless you do it but it isn't a requirement. Your car's ECU will adjust to them but it takes a few days.

This thread is the first Sticky in the Engine/Drivetrain section of the Tech area. https://g35driver.com/forums/engine-...resetting.html Take a look at it and then you should be happier.
