I did, thought I would share what happened to mine. The short of it is that my right side light went out a few weeks ago after flickering on and off for a few days. Naturally the first thing I do is buy 2 new bulbs(off ebay). Of course the new bulb does not work in the right side light.
Second course of action is to get a new ballast(off ebay). This was the problem. So if any of you ever had ballast go bad ($200+ part new) take a look inside one. For any one curious as to what the ballast does exactly, it simply converts power from one voltage to another. The low beams need a different voltage than the standard 12VDC system that most cars use.
I own a G35 coupe 2004 since I think I forgot to mention that.
As you can see from the pictures nissan missed a step making their ballast watertight. The problem is the connector that goes inside the light to the low beam bulb.
