+1 on that. The Si seems to be the logical choice. I personally would think VERY hard before purchasing a preowned car. There is a peace of mind with getting new.

I have a buddy that drives a 4door Si, and its plenty fun. your friend won't get bored easily.. and mods come cheap.

Anyways, goodluck on his decision. A G35 coupe would be sick too, but being AT and all he will regret his purchase after the first month or so.
