4 door si 2009?

ok since my friend doesnt have a g35 driver account nor a g35, lol so he is right here and he wants me to ask your guys opponions, hes 18 btw.

so he can get a used 03 g35 5at with 72k miles on it for about 16k. payment might be high cuz its gonna be under his name.

or his mom is suggesting he gets a brand new si 4 door. and she'll use her name on the loan, cuz she has better credit. so that equals cheaper payments and warranty since its brand new.

soo can you guys help him out, i honestly dont know what to say cuz its a tough one.

I have a 2008 Civic Si sedan and I LOVE IT! That sucker pulls HARD when the V-tec kicks in YO! You hit 6300 rpm and it's like a turbo kicking in.

Go with the Honda, here's why:

1. 30 mpg!
2. It's a Honda, duh! It will run forever.
3. Great seats!
4. WARANTEE!!!!!!!!!
5. Resale value.
6. Cheaper speed parts.
7. Cheaper insurance

If you need more, let me know.

BTW, Man up and get the 6MT, don't pussy out with an auto.

in all honesty, i own both. (cept the Si is a coupe)

he's young and i think an Si is a better option, financially especially. Si's driving amazing, I love the gear box and digital readout.

+2 for Si

Sure, the Si runs out of steam at about 125 mph (but it's a fun ride getting there!) and the G will go up to 158 (coupe) or 145 (sedan). The G has more torque, so you get more grunt.

As the old hot rodders STILL say; "Sonny, there's no substitute for cubic inches".

I actually test drove an 08 civic Si sedan before I bought my 05 G and there is no comparison in the power delivery from both vehicles.. The G wins hands down in that category btw.
Is the G a coupe or sedan?

The pluses to the Honda are...

-New vehicle with Warranty (This to me is a huge plus.)
-Better gas mileage
-Decent seats (I liked the fake alcantara)
-Decent feel to the transmission (Research trans failure heavily though)

Also research rust issues around the sunroof of the Civic.

Now the pluses for the G are...

- More power and RWD (If you live where there is no snow than this wins for me)
- More interior room (easier to haul the friends around)
- Baller status looks (Some people call it the panty dropper..More so for the coupes but the sedan looks great as well.
- Great interior and real leather
- Great exhaust and engine note (read..not ricey and annoying)

Regardless of the choice they are both great vehicles.

As Honda owner as well, Hondas have pretty strong 4 banger engines, a buddy of mine wanted to test his 07 Si 4 door vs. my 04 G35 Sedan Sport Package. Lined it up at a light and launched on him sick, The gap was about 3 to 4 cars. He's young and would probably look better in an Si unless he wants to get girls with the G35
