hey guys, new to the forums, just a question I had...

Hey guys, well here's my problem. I am ready to buy a g35 coupe (03) and I found one for about $15,000 with 43000 miles.

Its black, it has navigation and everything.
But the bad thing is that its an automatic.

With KBB being kind of off because of the economy, how much would you pay for a 2003 black g35 coupe with tan leather interior and navigation w/ automatic transmission?

Thanks for all your guys' help,
-roddy

the coupe with an AT will be harder to sell - you could probably get it for 1k less. on the good side, it is very possible that it was driven by a "non-enthusiast." it's hard not to drive the MT's hard - they are sooo much fun. will you be happy with an AT?

i think that's a good price for the mileage and navi options, assuming it's in good condition and tires have a reasonable amount of tread left. i looked at G's selling at auction over this weekend and they were around that price (14 - 16k). KBB is WAY WAY off. Black Book is the way to go, but requires subscription to get the data.

BTW, welcome to the boards

when i was looking around for mine it was nearly impossible to find one that had MT that wasnt listed at a ridiculous price. if MT is something you really want stick through it and just wait for the right one to come up dont settle for something you wont be happy with.

yeah! true that.
So i guess im not the only one thats having trouble finding this car.

I am unsure of whether or not I will be satisfied with an AT,
because we used to have a 350z in MT and I would drive that car as much as I could.

I found one for 60,000 miles with MT.
Same black, black interior with nav.

What do you guys think about that deal?

Personally, I wouldn't get an 03. They had a semi-large change in 2005.

2005:
Interior is MUCH nicer.
18 more hp.
19" rims
Loses 10 torque
Possibility of Oil Consumption
No Brembos

Get a 6MT.

BTW search for AutoMax review. Probably isn't the best place to buy a car.

course, with the help from some board members, i've completed changed it...

wow really? and it's been problem free?

For that price I would expect some frame damage or something or a bad part of the engine

mechanical and electric wise, very reliable..
i do have the notorious driver seat leather rip and window motor replacement...

i've sold off the 20s, swapped the ken style bodykit with OEM sport, swapped out s tech tein and went to OEM sport shocks and springs, and did a brand new custom paint job...

why not just buy a stock car or just leave it since there wasn't anything wrong with it? because through all this, i've met several outstanding members from here and learned a ton about the Gs...most would not go through this, but i find it amusing
