the good differrences between 37's and 35's
the good differrences between 37's and 35's
good morning usa, ive just woke up in the uk, yay, anyway i was just wondering, is it just me or do 35's look way better than the 37 coupes, i dont like the 37, i think infiniti did a bit of a ford focus on it, i mean the first ford focus looked odd but it soon grew on you and they produced an rs version and it looked sweet, then they made the second focus,, errrr, i just kinda feel that infiniti has done the same, just talking appearance and my opinion!
anyways, i was wondering what parts can you steal from a 37 to go right on to your 35,
1.are there chrome handles for the interior doors, my skylines are a dull painted silver?
2 ihave the old skool wipers, you know the bridge supprt wipers, do 37s have the flat one piece wipers?
3 are there any interior parts that will swap over
4 the brakes, do you get bigger brembos on a 37, and more importantly will they fit straight on a 35
5 sorry if these q's are dumb *** its just we dont have infiniti in the uk for another year so this place is my only point of info
appreciate the help thx
one more thing what the hell does FTW in posts mean?DOMO

just clarifying.. do you have a G35? you said there isn't infiniti in the UK for another year. not sure about the swappable parts but why do you need any of that stuff? most of it you don't even see every day and no one that doesn't have a G35 will notice it.. but it's all personal preference I guess
Deniance sounds like you have a 2003-2004 model
2005 G35(Skyline 350GT) have chrome door handles and a brushed aluminum interior.
The G37 brakes aren't all that great but they are able to be installed on the G35
with a adapter kit.
The wipers are basically the same system as the G35.
I have not seen any Infiniti/Nissan with a one blade system

I actually agree with you
I like the looks of the 03-07 G35 coupes more than the G37
I like the 2nd gen interior better however.
As for the sedans...i'm still debating which exterior style I like more.

G37 brakes are not brembo, they are akebono. They are four piston (two per side) in front and two piston (one on each side in rear). The rotors are 13.8" in front and about 1" smaller in rear but also thinner.
The wipers are a one-piece/flat-blade design yes, but I don't see what the big deal is. They look nicer/cooler/more modern but I feel they work the same as my old 06 G coupe. My 06 G35 coupe had sprayers integrated into the wipers whereas my G37 has sprayers tucked under the hood (invisible). The G35's sprayers was a superior design, IMO. Now my sprayers get clogged and also they spray all over the windshield and half the car -- whereas on my G35 it just sprayed right in front the wiper blade.
Interior on the G37 is in a diff class than the 1st gen G35 coupe, no question.
The engine has a higher redline (fuel cut around 7850), and a flatter torque curve resulting in higher HP figures and a quicker car if you wind it all the way out the redline. Under 4,000rpm the car has noticeably more torque but not like a 335i or 135i, just noticeably more than a g35 coupe.
The stock suspension is superior on the G37 in that we now have a double-wishbone set up in front. This allows for flatter turns/less body roll without any compromising ride comfort. My g37 rides less harsh but handles a smidge better than my G35 coupe did.
Electronics/Systems are better on the G37, from the nicely integrated native ipod interface, touch screen hd-based navigation (if u like factory navs) to things like push start on 6mt's, to fully implemented memory key stuff (my 06 coupe would only do memory on the seat but not the mirrors), to the rear-view camera, most of the stuff in the car works a little better.
Hope that helps.. I posted a direct comparison when I first got my g37... since I had just been driving an 06 g35 coupe for two years, I noticed a lot of differences. That post was on myg37.com though.. You can probably search for my posts if you are interested.

Comes down to personal opinion..
Lots of threads on this..
MY Opinion
37= More luxurious looking.. lines of Audi/BMW/Infiniti look luxurious. Interior is definitely a upgrade... If you don't think so you're in denial or you're hooked up with gizmo's and gadget's.
35= Looks more like a "race/car enthusiasts vehicle" I like more.
"2 ihave the old skool wipers, you know the bridge supprt wipers, do 37s have the flat one piece wipers?"
Think Rain-X Got rid of that for all cars..
