Bubbling Water Sound

I recently wrecked my 2003 Sedan G35, I got the car back two days ago from the shop. It was over heating so i took it to the dealer and they replaced the thermostat. But now when i am driving i hear a sound like water bubbling and boiling behind the glove compartment. I called the dealer and they said that noise is common for this model and is not a problem. Has any one had this issue....

The system (any car) has to be purged or "burped". If they didn't do it, there could be air trapped in there. Then the pump cavitates and no flow. Take it back to them and have them check it.

There is a bleed valve behind the Plenum that will let the air out.

Sounds like air that is making it to the heater core.

Dealer should know that the system needs to be purged when new fluid is added.

Shouldn't the cooling system automatically bleed?

Alternatively, I think you can remove the radiator cap as the car warms up and air will release.

No it won't bleed by itself. The blead valve in back of the plenum is at a higher level than the rad cap.

It would if the rad filler neck was the highest point. But it's not. The bleeder cap is higher.
