so yesterday i was dropping someone off and when i stopped infront of the house the lights all just came on out of nowhere. I couldnt even take it outta park so i check the brake fluid and its near max level, i even d/c the battery but the lights still stayed on. After all of that i had to use the shift lock to put it in drive even tho it was in drive the lights were still on but the car drove normal i dont know what else to do. So now im just waiting till tomarrow so i can either bring it to the dealership and let them see whats wrong with it. if anybody got any advise it would be apperiated

 

go to the dealership
since you have an 06 you still have bumper to bumper warranty

My 06 coupe did this once/twice. After I restarted from shorts trips here and there, lights went off and never came back on. Weirdest thing ever and never knew why it did that.

I'd like to know what your dealer says with yours....subscribed.

 

well i called the dealership today and the latest day they got was on wednesday so i well report back in here when i come home on wednesday...but the service guy told me on the phone when the lights come on it usualy means you need brake work done

 

well i finally found out what the problem was...my brake lamp fuse was blown used the spare fuse and all the light went off everything went back to normal....does anybody know where i can those tiny fuses and how much they cost

 

advance auto parts or pepboys or any other car store, you can buy a small box for 3 dollars or a large variety box for 7....

mine 08 G35X w 8350mi. All Slip,ABS and VDC just came on too.
I've check BrakeFluid and it's already up to Max level. I'll check the fuse tonight.
Great info.BTW Hope this is the ploblem so i don't have to take it to the stealer.

 

^check your brake pads also...i think if you check the fuse you should see if your brake lights work first cause if it does then i dont think it would be the brake lamp fuse...hope everything turns out good for u...

and anybody reading this i went to buy some of those tiny fuses but they didnt have the little one they told me to get the mini one and cut the metel to the size i need will that work???

 

I just went back from mine garage.No damage fuse were found.Nothing wrong.
So check mine brake pad and it's ok since i have only 8300mi on this 2008 Brand New G35X no seriouse way of using the brake.This car is so sensitive!!!
I may need to bring it to the stealership which i never like them very much.
