It is a Laser Red Coupe
Polish it up and give it a few days/ few washes. It'll even out.

I hate to be negative but I took mine off 2 months ago on a 2005 lake shore slate in Florida and you can still see the difference. I did it right and there is no residue but you can see the old paint darker.

I just took mine off and there is a very slight color difference. On my car though the paint under the letters was lighter then the rest. You really can't see it unless you get right up on top of the car so it's not real bad. I'm hoping it will blend in with some exposure to the sun.

I had my car detailed immediately after, and they did a lot of polishing to get the swirls out so that probably helped.

I detailed my trunk as soon as I finished using the two step Menzerna polish and then a sealer. It looks great, but there is definitely a difference. My car is also 4 years ols so that certainly has a lot to do with it.

I just took the INFINITI off the the back of my '05 G35, it took less than 30 minutes and there is no noticeable difference in color. Here was my method:

Use dental floss to take of the letters (didn't even need to use hair dryer, maybe because it's an '05 and the glue has had time to deteriorate???)

Spray some Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover on the adhesive left on the car. Let it sit for a minute or two.

Wipe off spray with a towel (this will only take off a little of the adhesive) and then take a hair dryer to the leftover adhesive for about 30 seconds and use your thumb to remove gunk (should just rub off now).

If there is any of the adhesive left after this, spray again with Bug and Tar Remover, let sit for a couple minutes and then wipe off with towel (probably won't need to use hair dryer this time around).

Clean area and it's done.
