Tough Decision... G35 vs M3
Owned the G35 coupe and drove the M3 (2004) intensively. NO CONTEST.
If you get the G, you are mistaken. M3 is faster, better quality interior, and is a truer driver's car. The G is a pretender in comparison.
I own the G37S and I'm not sure if it's a better car than the E46.
Just get the ext warranty if you do.
Have you driven an M3 or 3-series hard enough to compare the handling to a G? If the M3 you're talking about had worn tires, or your G35 had much better tires, I can see how the M3 was worse, but that car has a far sportier suspension than G35 with sport suspension and it's better balanced. Heck, I'd take a non-M 3-series sport suspension over G35 sport suspension too. BMW's just tuck into turns more, they understeer less, and they're much more communicative through the steering wheel. I'm a snob when it comes to good handling (my other car is a Lotus Elise), and it's what I pay attention to when driving cars.
So, the short version; I don't think you know what you're talking about

You definitely dont know what you are talking about. There truly is no comparison between the M3 and G. If it were 2004 again and you we're deciding which to buy, you would be an idiot to get the G.
I know that a lot of you guys here, including me, love the M3. But what is the reason that you guys and I did not get an M3? Money, right? We are not children anymore, all of us here are 18 or older. We need to take responsibilities, dont rely on our parents. Grow up guys. And of course, everything has pros and cons, including cars. G has its pros and cons, M3 has its pros and cons. IMO (this is just me), M3 cons are money and handling.
are you talking to me? if yes, then you are the one that does not know what you are talking about. Im not trying to get one, I got one. Im talking about OP (original poster), he is the one who is trying to get one. If no, then Im sorry.

lol I dont know how to drive because I said M3 is not good at handling? is that how you judge people? And you think you do? ROFL. Ok ok, let's stop here. Arguments are useless, it is up to you OP. You pick what you want and what you can afford.
yah that's true, M3 costs around 5-6k more than a G. But that's just the beginning, you also have to pay for insurance, maintenance, and costs to fix the car. At the end, M3 will cost way more than a G.

Pros: you used the search function
Cons: you resurrected and directed a comment to an 8 year old thread/post
Final answer: Welcome to our little dysfunctional family, maybe the next post will relate to something more current.
