How to drive the RWD G35?

I just bought a Nissan Skyline 350gt/G35 all the way from japan. Since im used to driving FF cars for 5 years, driving the RWD G35 seems a bit difficult for me. I don't know how to correctly approach a corner as i've notice taking it like my FF cars demands alot from G35 front tires and i know this is not the fastest my G35 can go (since i can go faster with my FF car and its way weaker than G35). Maybe im still adjusting but can any of u guys give me some pointers here (apart from drifting of course)..

where are you testing your car out at? This will help me understand why you don't know how to drive this car.

I don't know where you live and why you have to import one from ***. but here are my experiences with corners and curves. Taking an exit: rev match and drop down each gear till 3rd right before entering the exit (only if a tight exit and leave your VDC on) then push the car until you feel like you can't handle the car anymore do not apply brake, just let go of the throttle and straighten your car back. With wider exit, leave it on 4th because you don't want to change gear while in the curve unless you hard shifting like a motorcycle. At an intersection, do the same thing until 2nd gear, let the car rolls itself into the curve then punch it right before you exiting the curve. Others may have dif. tactics but those are what I always do.

Haha, kinda not true. My Infiniti dealer down the street from me doesn't have any G35s because as soon as they get one it's out the door. Having the Japan model would probably be just for show and tell more then anything. Unless its right hand drive cause that would be really cool.

It's difficult to adapt to RWD if you drive FF for long time because FF cars tend to slide out when you go in corner fast, switching to RWD will give you somesort of confidence because they turn much easier than FF, too much confidence you end up oversteering.

Knowing what's the car limit before oversteering is important unless you are confident to counter steer.

you won't know your car's limit unless you DRIVE IT and EXPERIMENT, get the feel for the car. Having someone tell you how to drive the car would mean that you are somehow unable to drive it yourself. I'm sure that's not the case. The only hard part about driving RWD is how hard YOU make it and how many excuses you make
