I'll take pics for you in a few days once I get it back from the bodyshop.

Take a look below at another members MG1 trunk as it was exactly what I went for except in OB. I also plan on fitting just a G37 infiniti trunk emblem which is about 30% larger than the trunk emblems fitted on our cars. I think it'll look money with the MG2 trunk. Again, pics in a few days once I get it back.

If you have a CF hood you should leave the MG2 trunk unpainted.

There's a bit of prep work needed to be done in order to ensure that the paint will adhere to the carbon fiber. So lots of buffing. Other than that, they just taped out the edges as detailed in the pics to keep the lines flowing with the rest of the car. I got quoted anywhere from $200-$500. Went with a guy that Boomer knows personally and ended up doing it for $300. I got a discount of course but I think $300 is reasonable especially with the quality of work this guy does. If you plan on purchasing it new from Boomer with the intent of getting it painted you should really have him just send it to his body guy. That way Boomer could get it all prepped and ready for paint right then and there. Also, Mastergrade and the body shop are next door neighbors so it takes no time.

Who mentioned having a CF hood?

Anyway, I got the trunk because of its unique lines that compliment the rear section of the G rather nicely. It being carbon fiber was just a plus and thought I'd include it in the design as many members on here have done before.
