I'm in Cali and they haven't been pulled over for the no front plate yet. But my car is bone stock. so maybe they're just picking on cars that are somewhat modified.
I mean, cmon, people with modified cars dont' just mod them to look cool in the parking lot. I've ran into several idiots trying to race me on the streets.

Funny, but the cultural difference between states is staggering. I live in North Mississippi (don't offer me your sympathy), and I might as well be driving a Ferrari Enzo. The closest Infiniti dealership is 110 miles away, and G35 coupes just aren't that common around here. In fact, I've seen one other one in the last three weeks. 350Z's are a little more common, but hardly at all.
No cop trouble yet, though. I've routinely hit 130mph+ on the highway late at night when no one else is on the road (I don't dare put anyone else at risk), but apparently cops are as scarce as G35 coupes.
But, to the OP, don't make all cops out to be like this. There are, in fact, many good ones out there. Some are just more cautious and irritating than others. I do know from personal experience that there certainly some as*holes out there too.
