Advice
I have an 07 G. Just looking to do some stuff under the hood to make it a lil more quick. Cold air suggestions?? exhaust mod including muffler, x pipe etc, chip?
I will take any and all suggestions...

What kind of G do you have? An intake will pretty much just give you sound, not really any power... There are no chips for the G, you'd have to get a reflash... You could obviously do a cat back exhaust and get some power... & you could go with a Motordyne Plenum Spacer, which is pretty much the best bang for the buck mod
so for the money you pay for intake it is not much. Exhaust mod is something I plan on doing eventually as I have access to do the work myself thru family business. What is the spacer you speak of, I have never heard of it.. I have a 07 sedan. i have only added a bolt on aftermarket grille.. what do you have? have done to it?
If you don't wanna spend the dough on a full intake, you can just get a K&N filter and z-tube... Plenum spacer goes in the middle of the upper plenum. You can read more about it and MotordyneEngineering.com...
I have a 04 coupe 6mt with stillen intake & motordyne 5/16 spacer... That's it for now as far performance mods
A re-flash is kind of like re-programming the ECU, so your car uses more of it's available power. You'd usually do it after adding some performance mods...

You have the dual intakes correct? I don't believe the z tubes fit the 07, but I could be wrong. Post up a pic of your engine for us to see.
Here's the deal on our engines. They way they come tuned from the factory, bolt ons will yield some gains, but not a lot. The only way you will make serious power is to go FI. What I would suggest is the Motordyne 5/16" spacer, Motordyne VQ exhaust, Motordyne XYZ pipe, and the Osiris tune. The tune should be the absolute last thing you do because it pulls all of your other mods together and maximizes the power available.
I don't work for Motordyne
but the owner, Tony, is a great guy that has put a lot of time and effort into researching and developing products that are specific to our cars and engines.
The other exhaust I (repeat I) would go with would be the HKS.

Congrats on your new car, and get ready for the addiction to begin. I'm waiting somewhat impatiently for a couple of things that are coming today!!

Don't waste your money on a CAI. The stock intake system is pretty efficient, so you don't really gain much if anything on a CAI. The stock G intake has a baffling system to reduce intake noise, but it also has a small effect on airflow. The Z-tube is a straight intake tube from a 350Z that doesn't have the baffles, so you get a little more sound (and better sound) and a little better airflow. It bolts right on and is a pretty standard mod around here.
It's pretty much agreed that a Z-tube and 5/16ths plenum spacer are the best bang-for-buck intake mods for the VQ engine, and about as good as it gets short of FI. Total cost is about $250-$300 (depends on what options you get with the spacer). http://www.motordyneengineering.com/G35.php PM Tony or Rick @ Riverside Infiniti (members on here). They have great prices on the spacer. You can find a Z-tube at http://www.g35parts.com or in the Marketplace.
And yes, use the Search feature.
