air conditioner pissing me off !
I have this problem for about a year now and im frustrated! just wondering if anyone has this issue or know how to deal with it.
ok when it is like 70 degrees outside the a/c is cold/average.. when its like 85 and up the A/c system is like a fan but at high speeds it's a little cool but not cold at all. Today in Texas its like 95 and I was sweating driving home from work. Could it be the compressor, belt, expansion valve, evap?

i have try charging the system like 4/5 time this year I vaccum the old freeon out and put artic freeze in and still same ol. i guess it might be the compressor since the a/c still works. so i guess im go look around for one..
If you are doing it yourself, are you putting r134a in with the correct pressure gauges hooked up to the low and high side....or you just shooting a couple cans in and crossing your fingers?
i have a vacuum pump it sucks all the freeon out and I put another 2 cans in the system.

Correct, but if you are just blinding attaching cans and filling it then you have no way to determine if the pressures are correct.
The correct way to fill the a/c system involves hooking up gauges to the high and low side and filling through the low side until specific pressures are obtained on both the high and low side. That pressure drop is what gives you nice cold a/c. If you are just filling blindly, you won't really ever know if it's optimal at all. That could be a reason why your a/c doesn't feel cold.
You really need a setup like this to properly recharge an A/C system. The parts store guys never tell you that.

you need to vacuum down the system, and hold that vacuum (28"Hg) for 15 minutes.
this will boil off any moisture in the system. yes, water can boil at room temperature. pretty sweet to see. as well as determine if you have a leak.
