Thinking about an 04 G, need clutch help.

I looked at a G35 6 speed manual today. I loved it and am highly considering it. Two issues though. First and the biggest, the clutch took FOREVER to engage. Like I was probably almost completely out before it engaged. I have driven a few manuals and my last nice car(98 Formula) was a manual and have never had such a weird clutch experience. Is this common with the G35s or is the clutch going out? The car felt find other than that.

Another thing the DVD for the Navi was not in at the time. The dealer says they probably have the disc. How much does the disc cost if they dont have it?

Also are there any other issues with the G35s I should be conserned about? This one is a 04 coupe with 69k miles.

the clutch engagement point on g35's is extremely high. and many people find it to be a lot more difficult to get used to than other cars.

Well that makes me feel better about it.

Any issues with a 70,000 mile car that I may should expect soon after buying?

Well I have been doing a ton of research lately. Looks like these are good cars. Now I just have to decide if I want to spend the money or not.

gas guage going inop.
driver and pass weather stripping wearing out letting water in.

Not to mention your 6-disc cd changer may malfunction...I'm at 41k miles
There are DIY clutch fixes and engagement point adjustments, so don't worry about how high the engagement point is.

Either than that, the car is awesome. The NOISE vrraahhrrroooommmm

I passed on this one but Im still looking for the right one. I have no probable paying what they are asking but not for one with 70k miles. I want a Coupe 6 speed fully loaded with lower miles.

only problems i've ever had were from the satellite radio.
But clutch issues and premature wear on tires/brakes are near in my future.
I can feel it
