Not even close officer. NO WAY Genesis is better than a G35. Good car, maybe. Still a brand new model, so the jury's still out on the car. Let's see how it holds up over a couple of years.

I'd like to hear other opinions on which car is better: Genesis or G35. Maybe I'll start a poll, hummmmm.

Not even close? No offense but you should stop just looking at pics and go to Hyundai for yourself... Go sit inside a Genesis and drive it then you will change your mind.

Genesis has such a nice interior and its got a V8 that will blow the doors off a G.

Even the genesis coupe has a better motor and options.

Hyundai did their homework, its better and newer than a G35.. Just face it.

I like it. It looks pretty damn good modded. I see the sedan around and again, they look pretty nice. It's obvious that the sedan still steals alot of design cues from Lexus/BMW/Mercedes etc.. but it's WAY better than their last attempt.

The coupe isn't going to blow the doors off the G37. 299hp vs 330hp?

It's the sedan that gets the 375hp V8. 0-60 estimates are at 6 sec.

I have driven one and while I'll agree with you it's nice, IMHO it isn't as nice as a G35. I'm just not convinced that it will withstand the test of time, and remember, beauty is more than skin deep. I would be way more comfortable with my G on a track, road course, or a twisty winding road pushing her hard.

Of course this is all subjective to the individual poster's opinion, so I'm definitely not trying to start an argument. Just expressing my opinion. That's why I started another thread to hear other opinions. I realize this is a G forum, so opinions will be biased, but there are many rational people on here that actually evaluate a topic before they just spew BS to be heard.

the reason its so popular because of the price point. And it does not look bad at all. I could care less what the car brand was as long as its not a death trap and is reliable.

I think it's a damn fine car. Like Dream said, no telling how it will hold up, but I like it right now. I actually looked at them before I got my used G35.

I love it. You can get the track model for 23 grand and put 10 grand into it and its faster car than the G35. I kinda want one.
