G37 > Genesis > G35

 

I think the G series (35 or 37) is still a better car, but I would be surprised if that lasts. I think after Hyundai gets some more real world reviews and input the next generation would have the potential to change that. It seems to be a pretty good starting point for a better car down the road.

 

Ditto, people need to realize this is their entry car. Wait until the next generation is developed and released. Hyundai really is stepping up their game.

Wouldnt the Tiburon be the entry coupe? Like Swivel said.. its not a fair comparison betwen a car designed over 6 years ago to a car desgined last year. They got to see what works and what doesnt.

And about the reviews of interior materials.. they said the same thing about the G to BMW comparison when it 1st came out as well.. And I would disagree with alot of reviews saying the G's interior is nicer than the BMWs. Better quality material in the BMW doesnt necessarily make it better,

Back on Topic.. I still think the G is better(but I'm completely biased) although the 2.0T might have a lot of modding options in a couple years.

 

When I said their entry car, I ment first time releasing it. If I compared the 03 G35 coupe to the Genesis, it wouldnt even be a competition, the Genesis is much better.

 

Performance: having driven a Genesis coupe i can say it "feels" faster than my coupe. We have not raced yet that will come in 2 weeks.

Looks: i hate the front, the side looks ok and i love the way the rear looks.

Handling: both the Genesis and my G35 Coupe are = (both stock)

Interior: the quality is there and the Infinity sound system sounds great. The back seats are not roomy at all and my head touches the roof (im 5.4)

 

Oh and if it means anything my friend with the Genesis coupe loves driving my G and wants to trade cars (im not saying he does not love his car he just like mine lol)

 

We're comparing a luxury sports coupe to an economy coupe.

We're comparing an Infiniti to a Hyundai. You should be banned. Seriously.

The G is no reliable car at all.. G35's are flooded with annoying issues and very questionable build quality... Some of the threads and things I've seen posted on this forum w/ people that have issues is ridiculous.

 

The G is not reliable? Who's G have you been driving? Every car has it's own issues. You're reading a biased forum. People do not post here everyday to say how much they love their car(s) and how they have never had an issue. They are posting because they have a problem and they need help. This works out to be an EXTREMELY small percentage of G series owners.
