My God, how many Genesis threads do we really need? I thought they would of died down by now.
Anyhow, my honest opinion? The G35 looks way more classy and clean. Both of them look relatively sporty. But obviously, being a G35 owner, I much prefer the cleaner/classy looks of our cars than the Genesis. IMO, the Genesis looks cheap. But I've seen some very nicely modded ones.

While we are at it:

From a design standpoint, the Genesis is more muscular. Its more organic.

Could you go more into the idea of it being more "organic", or did you just hear that term from some middle manager who likes to use words that sound impressive? I assume you mean the rather obscure definition of "having systematic coordination of parts." In what way is it more organic than a G37? In what way is it more muscular than a G37? And don't just use the pictures you posted of a heavily modified Genesis unless you're going to refer to a G37 that's similarly modded. Apples to apples. Please elaborate on "organic" and "muscular". That, or quit using words you don't understand.
you badge fanboys sound like Bimmer owners... before the G35, most people would've laughed at comparing Infiniti & BMW. all it takes is that one car to build up some momentum for a brand. the Genesis Sedan is aimed at Lexus and the coupe at Nissan/Infiniti. both are GREAT cars, better than the benchmarks, no BUT still great cars people should be getting excited about. the Genesis missed it's mark the same way we keep missing the 3 series. BMW makes a great car, we make an affordable alternative and now someone's doing it to us. get over it...
there are "normal" cars that still look great today, here are my favorite examples:
this Z (S30) debuted in 1969, looks so damn fresh that the new 370Z (Z34) had to take styling lessons from it

this is the NSX, this particular pic is of the NA2 but, besides the headlamps, the exterior design and shape is basically identical to the 1990 NA1, which is a 19 year old design that still looks brand spankin' new today

this markIV Supra (JZA80) debuted in 1993, not quite 20 years old, but after more than 15 years, it hasn't aged a bit

this RX-7 (FD3S) also debuted in 1993, you can call it a bowl of rice all you want, but its a timeless classic that still snaps necks in 2009
