^+1

Hard to compare the two, they are very different. I would keep the G. If you want a 6MT get rid of your G for a 6MT G.

Newer car, lower miles more rare.. Get the sti it will hold its value way better than your old outdated 04 automatic. Plus you've always wanted 6 speed.

I've been debating the same thing. I could really use the 4 doors + awd for work, especially during the winter months. I love the G35 though, and with good winter tires, its not bad in the snow. Like everyone said, the STI is fast, but thats about it. Think about it, how often are you really going to use all of that power. We have speed limits here. If you track your car, then forget what I just said. Either way, it doesn't look all that great from certain angles, its interior is a big downgrade from the G35, insurance is a lot higher, etc. I chose to stay with the G35... for now atleast.

Besides, G35 = chick magnet. STI = dude magnet.

i wouldn't really call and 03/04 G luxury.. The interior is VERY outdated. Accords and Maximas have better interiors than the 03/04 Gs

+1. At my school, chicks love the sound of the VQ more than anything. I know STIs are fast, but are u ever gonna race on the streets?

If u are into track then get the STI but as for daily driving, I think the G is the way to go.

speed = sti
luxury = g35

interior on STI is crappy. i esp. hate the cup holder above the radio?
what they thought when they put it right there

g35 biased website, you will get g35 biased opinions remember that

+1 on of both the cars acutally, we'd decide easily.

ok so first off i would like to thank everyone for their input. this is a great site haha. but i test drove the STi today and i dont think i like it. its hard to go from a nice more luxurios car like the G to a less luxurious car like the STi it wasnt as comfortable as the G and i dont think i like that sacrafice for the little bit of perfomance. so i think for now ill keep my car and in the future depending how my car holds up getting a 6mt.

, great choice, you wont regret it.
i forgot to also mention, cabin noise with STI is LOUD, you prob. didnt notice it when you were driving but once u have it daily you'll think its annoying. the clutch is also STIFF compared to g35s (g35 are known to have stiff clutches)

If I drove stick...I think i'd go STi, but its a really close choice for me. Yeah how would an STi or evo cost more to ensure than a G? Especially if the G were a coupe?
