My G35's oil consumption prob.
Oh man. There's no way they can do that to you! They have to take it in with/without the oem exhaust. They have to prove the engine issues were caused by the aftermarket exhaust system. They can't deny service or void your warranty without proving that.
Good luck with your lawyer!
You wouldn't be able to borrow an oem exhaust system just to bring it in for service?

Thanks! I just want my car to run normal again.
UPDATE EVERYONE!!
Okay, so I just took my car in this morning at 7:30 to complete the OC (Oil Consumption test). It failed! After bringing it back in at the 1000-1300 mile mark, the tech let the car cool down and sit for about 20 minutes. Pulled the dipstick out and the level was approximately 8-10mm from the full level which clearly a fail.
(By the way, I kept an eye on my car the entire tire which probably freaked the tech out that i was watching him and making sure he wouldn't top off the remaining level with new oil).
After seeing the results, the tech and rep spoke to their service manager and they contacted Infiniti to report their results which is part of their procedure.
So the end result:
They have contacted Infiniti but have to wait for their response. The representative there will contact me within 72 hours to let me know that i'll have to go back to the stealership and drop off my car to have the faulty part(s) replaced. They said they'll try to have the part in before bringing my car in so that all i have to do is drop it off and they'll slap on the new parts.
I'm hoping they are loyal and do the right thing which is contact me to let me know that everything will be taken care of. I don't want to hear any BS about them not being able to do it.
By the way, all this is being done at Miller Infiniti (Van Nuys, CA).
Thanks guys!

Wooooooooo! Hell yeah thats what i'm talking about man.
Congrats. This is awesome! So 8-10 mm down from the H mark in 1000 miles is a fail? Is that what nissan will use to measure on my car?

Sounds a little low for a new block and it certainly would not be slapped on. I've changed out a complete engine in about 3 hours but that was in a 73 Toyota, not an 05 Infiniti.
Make sure that they are replacing is what they should be replacing it with.
I would think that the actual cost would be closer to the three grand mark for the labor and parts (gaskets, etc.) in addition to the cost of the block.

So far, i'm crossing my fingers waiting for that call from them letting me know when to drop off my car so they can start working on the issue.
They're supposed to let the car sit for about 20-30 minutes before checking the oil levels. Once it's been checked a few times they measure the level with a dipstick ruler. Mine failed! Which i consider a WIN since i'll get my block replaced =)
Here's some information that helped me... i'll attach a PDF doc from Infiniti about how they are supposed to go about doing the Oil Consumption test. It's the procedure from Infiniti themselves.
PM me if you're not able to view it.
wow dude^ I've checked the dipstick myself and i'm already almost halfway inbetween the H and L line.. My car makes such bad noises and runs like total crap.. I'll post a video I took of my cars sound at idle and revving.. It sounds like a subbie or a lawn mower.
Those noises would be your internals not getting enough juices (oil) to lubricate the moving parts (ie: valves and other internals). It almost sounds like grinding noises right? Keep an eye on your oil level and top it off until you're ready to bring it into the stealership. Good luck!
